Festival of Fear '14

The Festival of Fear will take place this coming Halloween.  

A week of Frights, Scares and Terrifying Fun based within the Haunted walls of The Castle Keep, Newcastle 


Led by Producer & Creative Director Iain Jay
who is one of the country's leading exponents of Dark Arts Entertainment
supported by a highly skilled & experienced team
along with input from a broad sphere of Community Groups and Organisations

 

Throughout the day there will be FREE Halloween themed carfts and activities for all the family.
(Usual entrance fee applies)

At night things take a distinct change as the realms of darkness take over...

Guests will be able to explore the darker and scarier corners of the Castle Keep and
come face to face with some of the Castles stranger denizens who may just want to aquire your very souls 
as they undertake experiments within your mind.


Be warned:  This is an EXTREME scare attraction.
Not suitable for those with mobility issues, health issues or the very young.

The DARK CABARET

Combining the Hispanic Day of the Dead and European Superstitions this is an incredible party to celebrate
Life.. and of course, Death.
Dark Sideshow and Circus Performers, Burlesque, Song, Dance, Readings, Magic and Illusion

Castle Keep and
The Secret Chambers



The Castle Keep will be transformed into a scary walk-through experience where brave members of the public will risk their souls as they encounter some of the darker and stranger denizens of the Haunted Castle.  

No ordinary haunt, people will find themselves confronting some extraordinary happenings within the dark confines of the Castles walls.  Some may even survive!

Designers, Actors, Sound & Light Technicians and more now being recruited.  Most posts will be for Volunteers however expenses will be paid as well as special benefits provided.

The Festival of Fear is going to be a Monster Event aimed at providing Family Friendly Fun and Frights.

Based at the Castle Keep, Newcastle but with other events taking place across the North East the event will span nine days of the October half-term holidays and offer exceptional advertising and marketing opportunities for those who support the venture.  

Very much a community focused project many different organisations, agencies and community groups will be actively involved.  

Various elements will be available for specific sponsorship as well as the the festival as a whole.  Opportunities will also be available to secure group tickets/tables, book stalls, advertise in the accompanying guide etc.  

A major marketing initiative is planned which includes print media, newspapers, magazines, radio and TV as well as posters & banners throughout the region.
