Hanging Around with Sting and Pet Shop Boys

As part of celebrations to mark the Great North Run in Newcastle members of The Escape Committee including Iain Jay joined with French company, XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX, to perform an aerial display choreographed by xxxxxxxxxxxxxx. As well as lighting and fireworks effects we were accompanied by Sting and the Pet Shop Boys playing live. We were unable to persuade Ant & Dec to join us on the 200ft high robotic rig as over 100,000 people lined the banks of the Tyne to watch the spectacle.
